A-1 Locksmith has been servicing the DFW area since 1949. We've grown into one of the nation's leading locksmith companies, while remaining family owned and operated. We're looking to add to our growing team!

Summary:

Under general supervision of the Safes Supervisor with some direction from the Crew Leader, the Safe Delivery Worker performs a variety of tasks in the general installation and delivery of gun safes purchased from our show room floor.

1. Installs, removes, replaces, and delivers heavy safe and/or safes into customer's home or place of business.
2. Assists in driving company vehicles, including box truck.
3. Inspects work in progress and at completion for compliance with applicable policies, procedures, plans, specifications, and standards of quality and safety.
4. Completes reports on daily work assignments and activities as required.
5. Maintains safety regulations including wearing appropriate clothing and shoes.
6. Develops and maintains product knowledge.

Other Important Duties:

1. May be required to assist in our retail stores during idle times.
2. May occasionally be required to work evenings or weekends.
3. Performs other related duties as assigned.
4. Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work hours is essential.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

1. Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of power and hand tools.
2. Knowledge of safe handling techniques of heavy lifting.
3. Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
4. Skill in following oral and written communications and directions.
5. Skill in planning and organizing materials and supplies necessary to complete work orders or daily assignments.
6. Skill in operating assigned equipment, tools and vehicles.
7. Skill in resolving customer complaints and concerns.
8. Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
9. Ability to follow all of company policies and procedures.
10. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test, criminal background check and MVR check.
11. Must possess valid State of Texas Drivers License.

Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:

1. Work is performed outdoors and indoors.
2. Daily physical labor that includes extended periods of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, entering enclosed spaces, climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, driving a van/box truck, operating other equipment, and other similar physically exerting activities on a daily basis.
3. May be exposed to moving traffic, extreme weather conditions, heights, confined spaces.
4. Must be able to lift up to 85 pounds.
