Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Whitsett, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide welcoming service to employees and visitors, and maintain a visible security presence with tablet tools as needed.

Join a team focused on safety, teamwork, and integrity. Shifts run day hours Sunday–Thursday or similar; pay is $16.48/hour.

Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigations will be conducted as required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors on a technology-focused site, following security procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entry points, and perimeters.
Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain logs and incident documentation.
Assist in maintaining an orderly work environment and communicate during shift handoffs.
