Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Access Control Patrol in Boston, MA to protect clients across multiple industries. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and provide professional customer service while upholding site policies and emergency procedures.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a commitment to a welcoming, professional environment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions, with background checks and drug screening conducted

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Criminal histories may be considered in line with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders at a financial institution following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security findings and actions.
