Job summary

New England Security is looking for dedicated unarmed Public Safety Officers to safeguard sites across the Boston and New England areas. In this role you will perform access control, monitor security equipment, and patrol to maintain a safe environment.

The position requires alertness and the ability to assess security concerns, with a strong presence on site. Applicants must be 18+, pass a CORI background check and drug test, and hold a Massachusetts driver’s license. Overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record with less than 4 points.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pass a basic background check (CORI) and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings, facilities, and perimeters of assigned sites.
• Investigate suspicious or unusual activities and disturbances.
• Prevent losses by reporting irregularities and maintaining security presence.
• Control access by authorizing entrants and verifying credentials.
• Monitor alarm and video surveillance systems.
• Contact police or fire department in emergencies.
