Job summary

Cascadia Global Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard for a full-time role in Wealder, TX. The position includes night shifts (Wed–Sat, 11 pm–7 am) with daily pay options and immediate hiring.

Training for a Level 2 Guard Card is provided if not already obtained, and competitive benefits are offered. Applicants should be at least 18, possess a Level 2 license, and be capable of reliable report writing and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active Level 2 security license required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work mornings, swing shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control and maintain secure environment at client facilities.
• Conduct patrols on foot to deter theft and observe suspicious activity.
• Complete daily administrative documentation concisely and accurately.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform standards.

This position requires a Level 2 Guard Card. If you do not already have one, Cascadia Global Security will provide the training and assist with the licensing process.

Armed Security Guard Responsibilities:

Access Control

• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols are assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism visual deterrent
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 18years of age
• Active level 2 security license
• Basic computer skills and report‑writing experience
• Available to work morning, swing shift, or nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High‑level customer service

Pay and Benefits:

• $16.50per hour
• 50% paid Medical/ Dental/ Vision / and Free Life insurance for FT employees available after the first 60 days.

Experience

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1yearunarmed (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Active Unarmed Texas security guard license (Preferred, but will provide training)
