Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in Ashburn, VA. You will protect clients across various industries, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors. This role emphasizes safety, responsibility, and teamwork in a school environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and background checks. CPR is preferred; a guard card/license is preferred.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Criminal history background check as required by law.
Drug screen may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by following site procedures and emergency responses.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeter to deter issues.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, direct guests, report unusual conditions or violations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and emergencies.
Document incidents and patrols, inform Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
