Job summary

Allied Universal in Ashburn, VA is hiring a Security Guard (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) to protect students, staff, and visitors in a school setting. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns with professional service.

Responsibilities include access control, incident documentation, and collaboration with school leadership and local emergency responders. Must meet minimum requirements and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort with computer or tablet usage is preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by following security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify school personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and assist with access control.
• Document incidents and observations and share information with school leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
