Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Route Driver in Renton, WA. You will supervise and safeguard clients across aerospace/defense sites, perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service. A valid driver’s license is required to drive routes and access control points.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity; verify credentials and follow site procedures for authorized entry and restricted-area access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
