Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and provide assistance to customers and staff
• Escort individuals as needed and write detailed DARs
• Provide courteous, professional customer service
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity and secure designated areas
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports
• Adhere to Post Orders
