Job summary

San Manuel Public Safety is seeking an unarmed Public Safety Assistant I to support the DPS team. The role emphasizes security awareness, customer service, and adherence to tribal and state laws while maintaining confidential information.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to emergencies, and assisting with investigations. A HS diploma, 1 year security experience preferred, and the ability to obtain BSIS license are required. This is a full-time, on-site position in Highland, CA.

• Responds to emergencies and initiates control measures; provides first aid as needed.
• Prepares preliminary investigative reports for non-criminal incidents.
• Ensures adherence to enterprise standards to enhance guest experience and promotions.
• Directs pedestrian/vehicle movement; keeps walkways and fire lanes clear.
• Protects confidential data and mitigates cyber threats.
• Performs additional duties to support department operations.
