NOLA Protection Services seeks an Unarmed Professional Security Officer for a premier Class A highrise in downtown New Orleans. You will greet tenants, verify credentials, manage logs, and maintain a high level of professionalism to protect tenants and guests.

The role emphasizes hospitality-forward security, detailed reporting, and rapid response to incidents. A minimum 1–2 years in related security fields and a valid Louisiana unarmed registration are required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in high-end security, luxury hospitality, or corporate concierge roles (Class A highrise preferred).
• Licensing: valid Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE) unarmed security registration.

Responsibilities

• Greet tenants and visitors with a welcoming, professional demeanor; verify credentials and manage logs.
• Conduct regular foot patrols of the highrise interior, exterior, parking structures, and common areas.
• Act as an extension of property management; report operational needs and enforce policies.
• Respond to emergencies, medical incidents, or alarms; maintain detailed incident reports.
• Monitor CCTV, fire alarm panels, and access control systems for situational awareness.

Unarmed Professional Security Officer (New Orleans, LA)

NOLA Protection is seeking poised, articulate, and dedicated individuals to join our elite security team at a premier Class A Highrise building in downtown New Orleans.

Our objective is to provide a professional security presence that supports property management, assists tenants and visitors, monitors activity throughout the building, identifies potential concerns, and creates a consistent record of security operations.

The assigned team will operate under NOLA Protection’s guiding philosophy: \"Safety First. Hospitality Forward.\" The ideal candidate will seamlessly blend rigorous security awareness with a high-end concierge mindset to deliver exceptional service to our tenants, corporate executives, and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Hospitality & Access Control: Greet tenants and visitors with a welcoming, professional demeanor. Verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and provide accurate directions or assistance.
• Proactive Monitoring: Conduct regular foot patrols of the highrise interior, exterior perimeter, parking structures, and common areas to identify safety hazards, mechanical issues, or security breaches.
• Property Management Support: Act as an extension of the property management team, ensuring building policies are respected and reporting operational needs immediately.
• Incident Response & Reporting: Respond swiftly and calmly to emergencies, medical incidents, or alarms. Maintain a meticulous, consistent record of daily security operations and write detailed, objective incident reports.
• Surveillance Oversight: Monitor CCTV feeds, fire alarm panels, and access control systems to maintain total situational awareness.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in high-end security, luxury hospitality, or corporate concierge roles (Class A highrise experience is highly preferred).
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE) unarmed security registration.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
• Professionalism: Impeccable grooming, posture, and uniform standards fitting for a corporate highrise environment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and respond quickly during emergencies.
• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and digital reporting software to log daily activities.
