NOLA Protection Group is seeking professional Event Security Specialists to join our team for concerts and performances at New Orleans historic venues, including Saenger Theatre and The Joy Theater. Starting pay is $14 per hour, based on experience, with immediate openings for events beginning 10/30/2026.

You will serve as the first point of contact, balancing hospitality with proactive screening, enforcing safety guidelines, and supporting venue staff during live events.

Qualifications

• Active Guard Registration: Louisiana Unarmed Security Officer Guard Card required.
• 16-hour security training coursework current.

Theater Event Security Specialists - Unarmed (New Orleans, LA)

NOLA Protection Group is seeking professional, detail-oriented, and welcoming Event Security Specialists to join our team for upcoming musical, concerts, and major performances across New Orleans’ top historic entertainment venues, including the Saenger Theatre, Mahalia Jackson Theater, and The Joy Theater.

In this role, you are the first point of contact for theatergoers and guests. You will represent NOLA Protection Group and our premier venue partners by balancing exceptional hospitality and customer service with proactive access control and screening procedures.
Starting hourly pay at $14 per hour (based on experience) - Looking for immediate hires for events starting on 10/30/2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control & Screening: Safely and efficiently operate OpenGate walk-through weapons/metal detection technology at venue entry points.

• Guest Relations & Orientation: Welcome patrons, assist with directions, answer venue questions, and help maintain smooth, efficient crowd flow during arrival and intermission.

• Safety & Vigilance: Monitor entryways, concourses, and seating areas to ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for all attendees, staff, and performers.

• Policy Enforcement: Maintain high professional standards and enforce venue safety guidelines in a calm, courteous, and authoritative manner.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with event staff, venue management, and emergency response personnel during live events.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Guard Registration: Must possess a valid Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners Unarmed Security Officer Guard Card.

• Required Training: Must be fully current with the required 16-hour classroom training coursework.

• Customer-Centric Mindset: Polished communication skills with a customer-first demeanor—able to handle high-volume crowd interactions with poise, patience, and warmth.

• Reliability & Availability: Willingness to work flexible evening, weekend, and event-based schedules matching venue show times.

• Professional Standards: Strict adherence to NOLA Protection Group’s uniform and personal presentation standards.

• Provided: Company-issued black event blazer and NOLA Protection Group identification.

• Required Dress: Professional black dress pants, clean black dress shirt/tie, and polished black closed-toe footwear.

• Grooming: Must adhere strictly to company professional grooming guidelines at all times while representing the company at guest-facing events.
