NOLA Protection Group in New Orleans, LA is seeking an Armed Professional Security Officer to safeguard client facilities and guests. You will serve as a visible deterrent to crime, enforce site rules, and report suspicious activity to supervisors and law enforcement when required.

Responsibilities include maintaining a professional appearance, delivering excellent customer service, and staying alert in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Security Officer with LSBPSE.
• Be at least 21 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background and fingerprint check.
• Own a firearm meeting LSBPSE requirements and requalify yearly.
• Complete 16 hours of classroom training and firearms training.
• Maintain good physical condition for extended periods.
• Work in various environments including cold, rain, heat.
• Professional appearance and exceptional customer service.
• Open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license or photo ID and reliable transportation.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience required.

ArmedSecurity Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Armed Security Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
• Be at least 21years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background and fingerprintcheck with the LouisianaState Police
• Own yourGUN that meets LSBPSE requirements and requalify yearly.
• Complete 16 hours ofnecessary classroom training and complete firearms training
• Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time.
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Must have a professional appearance.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Must have open availability to workdays, nights,weekends andholidays.
• Must have a valid driver's license or Valid photo ID.
• Must have reliable transportation.
