Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred.
CPR certification preferred.
Guard card or license preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, students, faculty, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a museum and educational location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, classrooms, public spaces, offices, loading areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, visitor flow, and restricted areas; verify credentials and direct guests per site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and document observations.
Complete incident reports, daily logs, and other required documentation with professional communication.
