Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Prevention in Houston, TX. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and deter security incidents while maintaining a professional presence and complying with company policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, background check, and ability to work a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driving positions require valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store associates, customers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Help deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting to site management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
