St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Luxury Retail Security Officer for the Downtown Chicago location. The role requires a polished, discreet presence to protect people, merchandise, and property at a high-end luxury retail site.

The position is part-time with Friday–Sunday scheduling and typical retail hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Illinois PERC card and a 20-hour security training certificate are required, with prior luxury retail security experience preferred.

• 20-Hour IL security training certificate required.
• Previous luxury or high-end retail security experience required.
• Customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, visible, and discreet security presence.
• Protect the property, merchandise, employees, and customers.
• Monitor the retail environment and identify potential security or safety concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, and policy violations.
• Respond appropriately to security and emergency situations.
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and employees.
• Follow all client and company security procedures and post orders.
• Maintain awareness of customer and employee activity while providing exceptional service.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling security-related matters.

Schedule: Part-Time | Primarily Friday–Sunday

• Primarily retail operating hours
• Typical schedule is approximately 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability required
• Additional weekday coverage may be available or required based on business needs
