Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check is required.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, professional manner following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate findings to leadership and site contacts.
