Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening.
• Licensing requirements are subject to local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and adherence to access procedures.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site leadership and responders.
