Mercy Health is seeking a Protective Services Officer (Unarmed) for Kings Mills Hospital to maintain safety for patients, visitors and staff. The role includes responding to routine and emergency calls, patrolling grounds, enforcing hospital policies, and coordinating with security and clinical teams.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and BLS certification within 6 months. Vocational/Technical degree and prior security experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Vocational/Technical degree preferred.
• 1–2 years security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required within 6 months.
• RSFH licensure requirements (armed – TASER) within 6 months.

Aufgaben

• Escort patients, visitors and employees and patrol grounds.
• Deter criminal activity through routine property patrols.
• Enforce policies including parking, visitation, drug enforcement, and tobacco-free/smoking policies.
• Monitor CCTV and coordinate with security and clinical teams.
• Document daily logs and incident reports.
