Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Patrol Services professional to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff in a Knoxville healthcare environment. You will monitor facilities, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

Role involves unarmed patrols, access control, incident response, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns.
