Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Government Facility Patrol Driver in Austin, TX. You will protect government facilities, run routine patrols, deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service while driving to assigned sites.

A valid driver’s license is required; prior security experience is preferred. The schedule includes day shifts with overtime possibilities. Pay is $25.00 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while conducting security procedures and responding to incidents at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify entry according to site procedures; assist the public as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities per Allied Universal and site requirements.
