Job summary

Prosegur Security is seeking an Unarmed Flex Officer in the Twin City Metro area, Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, delivering professional customer service, and performing general unarmed security duties.

You will conduct patrols, observe and report hazards, and ensure compliance with client requirements. The position requires 18+ years of age, a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Prosegur Security is looking for an Unarmed Flex Officer in the Twin City Metro area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. The Security Professional is expected to have strong observational skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to respond quickly and appropriately to various security situations. Prosegur is one of the largest security providers in the world. We are looking for Security professionals that want to grow and develop professionally in our organization.

Shift Detail and Location

We are hiring for multiple sites around the Twin Cities

Hours will vary from location, Only 1st and 2nd Shift available

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
• Post dress code may vary from a suit and tie, or tactical

Qualifications we are looking for:

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Driver's License
• Clean driving record and valid driver license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures

Physical Requirements:This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routesWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsMaintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrolsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsThese physical requirements are essential to performing the job successfully.
