Job summary

JTF Security Solutions in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking Part-Time Unarmed Event Security Officers to ensure safety at public and private events. You will monitor entrances, conduct screenings when required, and respond rapidly to incidents.

Event Security Responsibilities

As an Event Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and smooth operation of public and private gatherings. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring entrances and exits to control access
• Conducting bag checks and screenings when required
• Providing crowd management and maintaining orderly conduct
• Responding quickly to incidents or emergencies
• Assisting guests with directions and general inquiries
• Writing clear and accurate incident reports

Core Requirements

• Minimum age of 26 years
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team

• At least 10 years of military or law enforcement service
• Proven experience operating in hostile or high‑risk environments
• Completion of recognized trauma medical training
• Successful completion of a comprehensive security background check or possession of a Secret-level government clearance
