Armorous is hiring an Unarmed Front Desk Security Officer to join our corporate office in Berkeley. The role centers on welcoming employees and guests, verifying access, and maintaining a calm, professional presence at the arrivals desk.

This 30-day assignment has potential to continue, with a business casual attire and no night shifts. You will perform security duties with emphasis on customer service and confidentiality throughout the workday.

Qualifications

• BSIS Guard Card required before first shift.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification covering adults, children and infants.
• Stop the Bleed training completed before your first shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet employees and visitors and manage visitor check in.
• Check badges and control access to the floor.
• Politely approach anyone you don’t recognize and confirm they have a reason to be there.
• Calm tense situations using clear, respectful communication.
• Write clear, factual incident reports when something happens.
• Keep anything you see or hear at the post confidential.
