Job summary

Allied Universal in Justin, TX is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control. You will monitor and patrol interior and exterior areas, uphold site policies, assist customers, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation may be required by law.
• A drug screen may be required. Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, perimeter points, and equipment or loading areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials as assigned and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
