Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Entrance Access - Unarmed in Hartsville, SC. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This full-time position pays $16.75 per hour with a 11:00 AM–07:00 PM schedule, Mon–Fri. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma, and pass background and

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals.
• Observe access points, respond to unauthorized-entry attempts, alarms, and other incidents calmly and promptly notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of access-control activities, incidents, and unusual conditions following Allied Universal reporting requirements.
