Job summary

Allied Universal in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed to protect facilities and staff in a chemical/petrochemical environment. You will manage access points, verify credentials, issue badges, patrol perimeters, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, at least one year of security experience, and a TSA-issued TWIC. Background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of the job location.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• TSA-issued TWIC credential.
• State/county/city-issued security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by executing site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points; verify identification, credentials, and visitor authorizations.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle and access records; issue/recover credentials and keys.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and report concerns.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized entry.
