Job summary

Gentry Service Group in Western North Carolina is seeking an Unlicensed Electrician to support our Lead Electrician on residential retrofit projects with light commercial work. This role offers paid training, year-round work, and a clear path for growth within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Electrician on residential retrofit work.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, full-time (Some flexibility and occasional overtime based on project needs)

What You'll Do

• Work side-by-side with our Lead Electrician on residential retrofit electrical work
• Install air conditioner and heat pump disconnects

• Assist with panel replacements and generator installations
• Help with miscellaneous electrical projects for residential and light commercial customers
• Deliver high-quality work while learning best practices and safety standards

What You Need

• Ability to physically perform all job functions related to electrical installation
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with customers and teammates
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Nice-to-Haves
