Job summary

Providence Covenant Hobbs Hospital is seeking an Ultrasonographer to perform ultrasound procedures under supervision to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illness. You will collaborate with the Diagnostic Supervisor, ensuring patient-focused care and adherence to safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have ultrasound coursework or equivalent experience, BLS certification, and NM Imaging & Radiation Therapy License if required by state regulations, with at least one year of

• Coursework/training in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: New Mexico Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program License (Facility Managed) - if practicing within this state.
• 1 year experience as an Ultrasonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures to assist the physician in diagnosing and treating illness and disease.
• Coordinate with the Diagnostic Supervisor, Manager or Director to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.
• Contribute to the patient care team by maintaining professional standards and documentation.
