Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus in Lafayette, Indiana seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging, operate sonographic equipment, and assist physicians in procedures. You will train students and fellow sonographers, while ensuring timely, accurate, and safe procedures with patient comfort in mind.

Qualifications

• Required Certificate in Ultrasound.
• Required Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Radiology or Ultrasound.
• 1 year Ultrasound Preferred.
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association.
• Registered Ultrasonographer (ARDMS) within 1 Year Required or ARRT (S) within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Practice effective team functioning.
• Provide education to patients and students.
• Maintain records, respect confidentiality and integrate PI process.
• Responsible for Environment and Equipment.
• Observe Universal Precautions and Infection Control and Safety.

Formation

Certificate in Ultrasound

Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Radiology or Ultrasound

1 year Ultrasound Experience

Basic Life Support (BLS)

ARDMS Certification / Registered Ultrasonographer

ARRT Certification (S) within 1 year
