Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Ultrasound Imaging Specialist at MGH Chelsea outpatient site. The role supports patient care with 20 hours weekly, 8:00am–6:30pm shifts on Mondays and Fridays, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Role requires ARDMS/ARRT certificates within 90 days and 2–3 years ultrasound experience.

Under supervision, you will operate US equipment, communicate findings, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safety and quality while participating in departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have ARDMS certification within 90 days.
• ARRT(R.T.(S)) certification required within 90 days.
• Ultrasound experience with multiple patient populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Communicate sonographer impressions to interpreting physicians.
• Modify scan techniques to ensure optimal image quality.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient use of US scanners.
• Perform all duties pertaining to the performance of clinical ultrasound exams and protect patient confidentiality.
