Job summary

Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, Nebraska seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join the Imaging Department. The role involves performing X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and mammography (if qualified) while delivering safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate patient care in a rural setting.

You will collaborate with physicians and radiologists, maintain equipment, and support QA, training, and on-call rotations. Nebraska license and ARRT registry are required.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited radiology program.
• Current ARRT registry in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Nebraska license to practice radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, Bone Densitometry, Mammography if qualified).
• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the healthcare team.
• Maintain imaging equipment, QA standards, and PACS documentation.
• Participate in department training and on-call rotation.
