Job summary

Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, Nebraska seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join the Imaging Department. The role involves performing X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and mammography (if qualified) with a focus on safe, high-quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited radiology program.
• Current ARRT registry in good standing.
• Licensed in the state of Nebraska.
• BLS certification is required.
• CT and Mammography experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and mammography if qualified.
• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the care team.
• Maintain imaging equipment, QA standards, and PACS documentation.
• Participate in department training, QA, and on-call rotation as scheduled.
