Job summary

CVMC - Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, VT is seeking a Sonographer to perform routine and advanced ultrasound procedures in Radiology. The role requires independent judgment and specialized imaging to aid diagnosis.

Qualifications include ARDMS/RVT/RDMS credentials with RDMS and ARRT related requirements. This is a bargaining union position within our Radiology department offering full-time hours and day shifts.

Qualifications

• RDMS ultrasound certification is required.
• ARDMS certification with OB/RDMS options is expected.
• Graduate of CAHEA/JRCT school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Staff 1 requires RDMS; RVT within 180 days and RDMS (OB) within 2 years.
• Staff 2 requires RVT and RDMS; OB RDMS within 2 years; ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex ultrasound procedures for diagnostic purposes.
• Operate ultrasound equipment with independent judgment and initiative.
• Maintain proper documentation and comply with certification renewals.

CAHEA/JRCT school of Radiologic Technology

RDMS ultrasound certification

ARDMS certification

ARRT certification preferred

Two year allied health equivalent
