Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking certified sonographers to work under Radiology leadership for a range of sonography procedures requiring independent judgement. RDMS/RVT certification is required with specific timelines for OB RDMS and additional ARDMS specialties for senior staff.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS certification and ARRT preferred, with cross-trained staff covering multiple modalities as needed.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required; ARRT preferred.
• Staff 1 Sonographer: RDMS or RVT required (RVT within 180 days; RDMS (OB) within 2 years).
• Staff 2 Sonographer: RVT and RDMS required (OB within 2 years).
• Senior Sonographer: RVT, RDMS (OB) plus one additional ARDMS specialty board; 5+ years registered sonographer experience.
