Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program specializing in Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – ARDMS or RDMS.

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures, providing quality images for interpretation by radiologists and physicians. Responsibilities include abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler studies, and interventional procedures, with an understanding of growth and development to meet individual patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program specializing in Sonography, credentialed from ARDMS prior to hire or transfer date.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – ARDMS or RDMS.
• New graduates are considered. Proficient in real-time, color flow, Doppler, transvaginal, biopsies, interventional procedures.
