Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an Ultrasound professional to perform ultrasound procedures under the direction of a Radiologist or Ultrasound Clinical Coordinator. Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Ultrasound school or equivalent.
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR.
• Background screening through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasound procedures at a technical level with independent judgment.
• Apply prescribed sound waves for radiologic diagnosis or intervention.

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed sound waves for radiologic diagnosis or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

Require graduate of accredited Ultrasound school or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer Board Certified American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
