Job summary

The role requires a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program, CPR certification, and flexibility to work shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Ultrasound school or equivalent.
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR is required per job postings.
• Background screening may be required by Florida healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist or Ultrasound Clinical Coordinator.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed sound waves for radiologic diagnosis or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

Require graduate of accredited Ultrasound school or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer Board Certified American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
