Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • 2–4 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • ARDMS or ARRT Sonography certification or registry eligible required; Basic Life Support (BCLS) within 7 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs ultrasound procedures independently following department protocols.
  • Verifies patient identification and ensures procedures are ordered and acknowledged before imaging.
  • Documents imaging procedures and patient information in the EHR and uploads to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintains safe, clean, organized workspace and adheres to safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Monitors supplies and coordinates inventory as needed.
