Job Summary and Qualifications

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner.
• Perform sonogram examinations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Responsible for imaging, recording, and processing ultrasound images.
• Obtain and document complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered and informed consent.
• Maintain statistical results for quality improvement.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS OB/GYN Specialty, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), or RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
