• General + Vascular experience highly preferred.
• Valid ARDMS certification or RVT or ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN within 1 year.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.

Ultrasound Technologist - PRN/Per Diem

Your tasks and responsibilities as an Ultrasound Technologist (or Sonographer) include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
• Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner
• Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images
• Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test result
  

Qualifications

• A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program
• General + Vascular experience highly preferred
• Valid ARDMS certificationorRVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS OB/GYN within 1 year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions
