Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technologist performs all ultrasound exams proficiently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic scans, positioning patients and equipment appropriately, and processing images for transmission to PACS.

Qualifications

• RDMS (ARDMS) or ARRT certification in at least one body region required within 90 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as specified above, with graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous ultrasound experience preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Proficient computer skills.
