Qualifications

• Graduation from a program approved by ARDMS.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select technical factors to obtain high-quality scans.
• Operate portable ultrasound equipment as required for on-demand procedures.
• Assist physicians by suggesting technical factor selections for optimal studies.
• Obtain patient history to inform radiologist before interpretation.
• Maintain safety standards and CPR certification; follow hospital policies.
