Job summary

United-Digestive is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, prepare and position patients, and produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. The role requires ARDMS registration and 2–5 years of abdominal ultrasound experience, plus BLS CPR certification.

You will operate eMDs scheduling software and MS Office, while maintaining patient confidentiality and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved ultrasonography program.
• ARDMS registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Minimum 2–5 years of abdominal sonography and abdominal Doppler experience.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Computer literate; proficient with scheduling software (eMDs) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using ultrasound equipment and document findings.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures; assist in moving patients as needed.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality image production and documentation for radiologist review.
• Prepare images for radiologist interpretation in a timely manner.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to department policies; follow HIPAA and accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate with radiologists, physicians, and medical assistants to ensure quality care; participate in scheduling and patient education.
• Travel within the Metro area as required; participate in staff meetings and special projects.
