Job summary

MSO‑Maternal Fetal Md‑Tomball, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist Perinatal to provide specialized expertise. This day-shift position emphasizes high-quality obstetric imaging and efficient patient care.

The role requires RDMS certification, an Associate degree in Ultrasound (Bachelor’s preferred), and at least one year of specialty ultrasound experience. You will work closely with obstetric teams to evaluate fetal and gynecologic conditions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year specialty ultrasound experience.
  • Associate’s degree in Ultrasound is required.
  • RDMS certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply fetal ultrasound principles in evaluation of fetal anomalies.
  • Evaluate gynecologic ultrasound findings.
  • Operate various ultrasound machines and maintain quality standards.
  • Identify fetal anomalies and report to physicians.
  • Perform Level I & II ultrasounds and related procedures.
  • Maintain thorough ultrasound logs and histories.
  • Collaborate with obstetric staff and hospital personnel.
  • Exercise judgment in interpreting Biophysical Profiles and fetal well‑being.

MSO‑Maternal Fetal Md‑Tomball, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a full‑time Ultrasound Technologist Perinatal (Monday‑Friday, days) to provide specialized expertise and ensure all patients receive high‑quality, efficient care.

Job Summary

Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no on call, no weekends, no holidays. Seeking an Ultrasound Technologist Perinatal / Perinatal Ultra Sonographer to provide specialized expertise and ensure high quality, efficient care for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Applies fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies
  • Applies gynecological ultrasound principles in the evaluation of patients
  • Adapts to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography
  • Identifies fetal anomalies, such as CNS, maxillofacial, cardiothoracic, abdomen, abdomen wall, genitourinary, extremity, placental, umbilical cord growth disturbance
  • Performs ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix and ovaries
  • Performs complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in‑office multiple gestation service
  • Identifies gynecological anomalies such as fibroids, thickened endometrium and polyps
  • Makes preliminary, equivocal diagnosis of gynecological and fetal disorders in the organ systems mentioned above
  • Operates General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines with proficiency
  • Continues to expand knowledge of latest technology
  • Maintains ultrasound logging records including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history
  • Prepares patients for procedures including Level I & II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS, amino reduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound
  • Maintains professional relationship with other staff members, other obstetric offices and hospital personnel
  • Exercises independent judgment when interpreting Biophysical Profiles designed to assess fetal well‑being
  • Alerts physicians of potentially dangerous conditions; diagnoses fetal weight disturbances based on fetal biometry
  • Diagnoses multiple fetal anomalies and reports and demonstrates them to physician
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • A minimum of one‑year specialty ultrasound experience required
  • Associate’s degree in Ultrasound required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • RDMS required
