Job summary

City of Hope in Duarte, CA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Radiology/Imaging on a Per Diem basis. The role involves performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations and ultrasound-guided procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, a CAAHEP-accredited program, 1 year in diagnostic imaging, RDMS or RVT certification (or within six months of hire), and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program (or equivalent).
• One year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred or may be considered for new graduates with internship.
• RDMS or RVT certification required or must be obtained within six months of hire date.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of ultrasound examinations and ultrasound-guided procedures with/without radiologist support.
• Adapt to ultrasound equipment and use exam-specific protocols to deliver quality images.
• Prepare room and equipment; document exam information and follow workflow for accurate records.
