Job Overview:

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound School
• CPR certification
• Maternal Fetal medicine experience
• Ability to perform all trimesters from first to third
• Nuchal Translucency certification or eligibility

Certifications and Licenses:

• ARDMS Certification
• CPR certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Per Diem

Essential Functions:

• Review requisitions to ensure proper exams and patient preparation
• Maintain workflow efficiency
• Foster positive relationships between radiologists and sonographers
• Assist lead technologist and supervisor in daily operations
• Ensure proper documentation of ultrasound exams
• Initiate service calls and documentations
• Train colleagues and students in complex or new techniques
• Provide age-specific patient care considering growth and development
• Adhere to hospital, state, and federal standards
• Review co-worker sonograms for quality and educational purposes
