Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for per diem, day shift coverage. You will perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, using a variety of equipment and considering patient-specific needs.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS certification or eligibility, Oregon Sonographer license (or temporary), and Basic Life Support. New grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months; OB/GYN experience is preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
• Upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• 2 years OBGYN sonography experience for 612-71875, 612-71877, 612-71878, 612-71882, 612-71883, 612-71884.
