Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for a per-diem, day shift in Hood River, OR. The role involves performing ultrasound examinations per physicians’ orders, using diverse equipment, while considering patient age and specific needs.

Required are ARDMS eligibility, OR Sonographer license or temporary permit, and BLS. New grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and may require OBMI temporary license with permanent licensure within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license required at hire.
• BLS certification at hire (American Heart Association).
• ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Utilize a variety of ultrasound equipment and adapt to individual patient needs.

Required Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
• Upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• 2 years OBGYN sonography experience for , , , , , .
