Dallas Regional Medical Center seeks a per diem Ultrasound Technologist responsible for performing all ultrasound exams, positioning patients, and generating diagnostic-quality recordings. You will transmit images to PACS and ensure compliance with ARDMS/ARRT standards within 90 days of hire.

This PRN/Per Diem role requires certification, graduate from an accredited program, and current BCLS. The work schedule includes days and nights with variable shifts at the Dallas campus.

Qualifications

• RDMS/ARDMS or S/ARRT certification required within 90 days of hire and maintained.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
• The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills
